Owning and integrating my shadow – the aspects of myself I’ve historically judged, rejected, and tried to cover up – has been one of the biggest keys to healing my relationship with food and my body.
Allowing ourselves to BE the full human spectrum allows our bodies to relax.
I was journaling last night and felt called to share a portion of my shadow work with you.
For me, this work is ongoing, and it has helped me to heal every area of my life – from relationships to work and money.
I hope this empowers you to own the aspects of yourself that you judge the most, and know that they are your super power.
In that acceptance, in shining light on your shadow, a weight is lifted from your body.
You can just be.
This is where you reclaim your natural magnetism.
This is where you allow yourself to live now, and to love your full experience today.
Here’s my journal excerpt…
I now choose to be seen in my full spectrum.
To not have enough to say. To have too much to say.
To say things that are unimportant. To say things that are profound.
To be a bad copy. To be a rare bird.
To be disliked. To be loved beyond measure.
To sound stupid. To sound brilliant.
To sound pretentious. To sound fiercely relatable.
To be boring. To be exhilarating.
To smell like a wet horse. To smell like a pink rose.
Today I claim my range, and I claim my place.
Next to you, in your full range. In your place.
I celebrate me, and I celebrate you.
With love,
Lula
