I used to almost ALWAYS feel uncomfortably full after meals – unless I was restricting or on a diet, in which case, I was just always hungry. 🙂
Today I never feel uncomfortable after meals – not even on Thanksgiving or Christmas.
And no, it’s not sad. I don’t restrict or miss out on anything.
I have a hearty appetite and an active lifestyle, so I can eat quite a bit sometimes, but there’s never a feeling of discomfort.
I just don’t have it in me anymore.
I know my body and I have no desire to overeat.
I just feel happy and satisfied after meals, ready to dance, bounce around, or whatever else I want to do. Food no longer takes me out.

It’s nearly 2 hours of beautiful energy and actionable steps to start practicing and integrating intuitive eating today.
We begin with a guided, grounding, body-love meditation.
Then we dive into the energetic shifts to make and physical steps to take to master intuitive eating without giving up your health and body goals.
Breaking the cycle of restriction and discomfort was a PARADIGM shift for me.
I was born into a very restrictive diet – Macrobiotics – and then we slowly branched out as I grew up.
I was really sensitive to a lot of foods, and felt a lot of fear around things like pizza and cookies.
It was a classic forbidden fruit situation – I wanted what I couldn’t have.
The tension was palpable. LOL
By high school I was dieting to try to lose weight, which led me into severe restriction, binging, and purging.
I was only able to break these toxic cycles by fully committing to intuitive eating and fully abandoning diets and restrictive mentalities, in thought and action.
I had to be all in on intuitive eating – I could not have one foot in a diet.
I could not have a dieter in my ear, and I had to create a zero tolerance policy on food and body talk.
Today I am a full intuitive eater.
I never restrict, I never overeat, and I never eat to tune out or numb out.
At the same time, there is a sense of lightness and playfulness in my approach to food.
I do not agonize over what I should eat, what I’ve eaten so far in a day, or what I will eat later.
I just listen to my body. I fully enjoy my food with all my senses.
I love eating out. I love cooking. I don’t even mind doing dishes. I love the whole experience of nourishing myself.
If you want this for yourself, I strongly recommend getting in on the Mechanics of Intuitive Eating master class today.
I share my personal journey and all the core tools I’ve used with myself and clients to master intuitive eating.
